October Insurance Letter

As we head into the month of October, many things are uppermost in our minds; Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, insurance benefits, flexible spending plans………Ok, maybe insurance benefits and flexible spending plans are not on the list, but they should be. This is the time when we should be sending a letter to all our patients who have incomplete treatment and insurance benefits and/or flexible spending left for the year. These benefits are on a yearly “use it or lose it” basis, and we need to remind our patients that now is the time to schedule to use those benefits. By reminding them now, hopefully we can ease up the end of year crunch for both our patients and our office…….trying to get the last benefits or flex spending used in December can be frustrating for all of us!
